Grow Your Faith

A relationship with our faithful Lord Jesus is the most important thing you can have!

The most important thing you can do is make sure you are saved through the grace and sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross.
He died for our sins and made atonement for us, but we have to believe, confess our sins, and pronounce Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

- How To Get Saved Right Now -

1) Recognize your Guilt before God: “For ALL HAVE SINNED and come short of the Glory of God!”

2) Repent of your Sin: “Except ye Repent, ye shall ALL likewise perish!”

3) Receive Jesus Christ: “But as many as RECEIVED HIM, to them Gave He Power to BECOME the sons of God, even to them that Believe on HIS NAME!”

4) Rejoice in Assurance: “For Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the LORD Shall be SAVED!”

A Prayer of Salvation:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I am sorry and I repent!
I lay down my independence, and I submit myself without reservation to your Lordship.
I believe that You are my Savior, and that You have an inheritance for me.
I truly believe that You died on the cross for my sins, and that You conqured sin and death and were resurrected.
So with all my heart I now turn from my sin and Receive You as my personal Lord & Savior.
I thank you Lord for saving me, and from now on I will depend on your all-sufficient grace, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Recognize Our Sin

We need to recognize we sin and the essence of sin is not necessarily committing some terrible crime.
Rather, it is falling short of the glory of God.
How very important it is for us to understand the essential nature of sin!

This is how I would define it:
Sin is a failure for which we are accountable.
Sin is a refusal to live according to God’s requirements—a failure to fulfill the purpose for which God created us.

What is that purpose?
To live for His glory—an unspeakable privilege!
Our ultimate purpose is to bring glory to our Creator.
When we sin, we rob God of His glory. How? By not fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.

Is that an understandable definition for you?
Sin is simply a failure to carry out the function for which we were created by God.
For that failure, we bear the primary responsibility.
We cannot excuse ourselves by saying that we could not help it.
We are All accountable for our sin.

Faith Through Repentance

The whole message of the Bible is in this order: repent and believe.
There are lots of people who might say they are struggling for faith.
The truth is not that they are struggling for faith, but that they may have never met the condition of repentance.

True Repentance is making a decision to turn things around, and carrying out your decision.

Repentance means going to the father whom you have offended, to the God who loves you, and saying,
“I’ve made a mess of my life. I can’t run my own life. I need You. Will You forgive me?”

This is true repentance. And it is worth repenting to be welcomed back by God.

Note: I want to emphasize that repentance must come before faith.
There can be no true faith without repentance. This is emphasized all through the New Testament.
Repent and believe. You cannot truly believe unless you have first repented.
The first word of command that ever came from the lips of Jesus was not believe but repent.

Receive - Take Hold of Your Power

Receive - Take Hold of Your Power
With your salvation comes the act of having faith.
Faith is one of gifts of the Holy Spirit dwelling in a believer and operating through him.
God has implanted in man an urge to exercise this kind of faith and He does not reprove us for doing so. Through that faith Jesus will lead you to knowledge.
This knowledge will sustain you, and provide you with the know-how to put on the whole armor of God, and take your place among the ranks of a son of the Living God.
You can now find the path God has for your life, and take heart that you will also have the power over evil and the demons that may surround you.

Please be aware that God will now test, and chasten, you as He has done all throughout the scriptures.
So count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience/endurance. But let patience/endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Rejoice & Praise The Lord

Rejoice you are now a brother/sister in Christ, Praise God.
Speaking of Praise God, Praise is God’s address; it is where He lives. If you want to be where God lives, you must offer Him praise!
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.

God’s primary purpose in giving you a tongue is to praise Him.
It is the one member of the body with which you may most perfectly praise and glorify God.
Remember that God blesses you, delivers you, and takes away your mourning so that your glory will praise Him and not be silent.

Praise is also a weapon of spiritual warfare.
When we offer God perfect praise in the unseen realm that our natural eyes cannot penetrate, we silence Satan.
We shut him up and we take from him his great weapon of accusation.
No wonder the devil doesn’t want you to praise God.

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1
